JEFF GIBBONS

Jeff Gibbons (b. Detroit, 1982) is an intermedia artist whose work spans a wide range of artistic practices. His art has been exhibited internationally at venues in Mexico, Japan, across Europe, and in the U.S., at esteemed institutions such as the Nasher Sculpture Center, The Power Station, and The Goss-Michael Foundation. 

A selection of residencies and fellowships include a long-term fellowship at The Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, MA, as well as their Stephen Pace Fellowship (2023-2025); the Cerámica Suro Residency in Guadalajara, Mexico; Achterhaus in Hamburg, Germany; and a long-term fellowship at Sculpture Space in Utica, NY (2025). In 2018, Gibbons spoke at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C., on the intersection of art, ice, and climate change.

His work is a part of several public and private collections, such as the permanent collection of the Nasher Sculpture Center, the Cerámica Suro Collection, the AT&T collection, and several university collections. Gibbons is represented by Conduit Gallery in Dallas, TX.
